Trucker accused of possessing child porn>

LANSDOWNE (Staff) — A U.S. trucker travelling across the Thousand Islands Bridge faces child pornography charges after being stopped by Canada customs officers Thursday.
Officers with the Canada Border Services Agency searched the truck and discovered a laptop computer and compact disc containing what they believed to be graphic images of child sexual abuse, according to a release from the OPP Child Pornography (Project P) Section.
As a result of the initial investigation, members of the OPP’s Project ‘P’ unit out of the Leeds County detachment attended the scene and seized the computer and compact disc.
Glenn Allan Viefhaus, 41, of Indianapolis, Indiana was charged with one count of possessing child pornography and one count of importing child pornography.Viefhaus was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The investigation is continuing.
